Food and Beverage Food and Beverage Super lucky to get a high top table in the pub section at 11:30, the place was packed. Doors to the outside wide open because it was too hot and I heard someone say We always have to open the doors because it is too hot in here. Bowl of Chili that was quite good and a coffee came to 12 bucks. Enjoyed lunch very much on the summit.
Comments Comments Happy to burn my Indy Pass and enjoy a good day of skiing with Jeremy! Lodges were crowded, stayed away from the base lodge that was flooded with partying 80s day celebrators. End of the season race going on Baron's so it was closed and the race kids were wearing crazy outfits.
We skied every run that was open and I may have skied one that was suggested it wasn't open. Cold in the morning, warming up to 40s down below, frozen granular turned into firm and ice with piles of loose snow while down below that loose stuff was a bit warmer. At least no wind and Lafayette came out of the clouds later.
I have to congratulate the groomers they really improved things since my last visit. It is getting near the end. We even took a ride up the Tramway. We rode every lift that was open today, ba ha ha ha. See ya next season Cannon! xoox
