Comments | Only skiing under the lights left in New England! Thanks in part to their weekend snowmaking and the slightly more seasonable temperatures that followed, there was actually more snow today than last Thursday. Probably around three quarters of the night skiing terrain was open (Cascade Basin is closed) during the twilight hours, however for whatever reason they did not turn on the lights on FIS or Twister. FIS and Twister both still had good coverage and had good spring snow conditions. Duster was a little choppy as the temperatures dropped, but skied better after dinner. East Wind hadn't seen as much traffic as Duster, so the headwall skied quite nicely. Breeze has some bare spots, but in general had better coverage than a week ago. The lower connectors back to the lifts also had better coverage than a week ago. Did not venture over to the Valley side, but I think they made snow there too. Snow depths are good enough that I suspect all of these trails will make it through the weekend without much issue. | |
