Comments | Things are looking surpringly good heading into the last weekend of the month! We ended up with an inch of snow and some ice from yesterday's mixed weather event. The top of the mountain started with a layer of glare ice, but things are softening up into great spring conditions. All snowmaking trails are still open with good cover on most, except for Swift, Lower Rapid, and the first pitch on Upper Rapid. Magalloway is the only natural snow trail left open. There are a few glades which are still skiable with care, but most are done. We will be having a number of events this weekend, including the cardboard sled derby tomorrow and pond skimming on Sunday. If things hold up well next week, we may be open for the first weekend of April! |
