Comments CommentsOnly my second time ever skiing Cannon. With the Indy Pass, you have to make a reservation, and reserve an actual ticket for $1.50, which I had done, but still had to go through a bit of an ordeal with the lady at the ticket counter...why would I make a reservation without a ticket anyways?? Like its an option to just park in the lot and stand next to the lodge and look at the slopes??
Anyways...other than that, it was a nice late season condition day. Lift operators were very friendly. Moderate wind at the top. Lots of ice, but mostly avoidable. Didn't get the chance to ski the front 5, but got to the top a bunch of times. Skiied over to Mitersill for a couple runs. That actually had the best snow conditions. Got a little NELSAP-ing in finding the old T-Bar lines and a few towers for each. Skied down Barron's run after the race to get back.
