Comments CommentsOf the larger areas I've been to recently, Bretton Woods seems to be in the best shape in terms of base depths.
Three high speed quads and the Learning Center Quad were running today. West Mountain and Telegraph T-Bar complexes are closed for the season I suspect.

McIntyre's, Bode's, Zealand, Upper Swoop, and Outer Bounds were open from the top (Two Miles Home is closed). Bode's/Zealand/Upper Swoop/Outer Bounds all had good coverage. McIntyre's headwall was starting to go, but otherwise decent. Most of the stuff below the quad was open, though Darby's Drop was wearing thin.

Decent skiing off Bethlehem and Zephyr. Granny's Grit is unfortunately closed, as was Agassiz. Coos Caper and Avalon were both open with good coverage.

We ended up skiing from just after 9 until closing; 28 runs and 27.8K vertical. Opening conditions had a very nice corduroy throughout (some random rocks thrown in, despite good base depths). While a few of the steeper areas were a little scratchy at the end, still generally decent loose granular conditions. Lower elevations turning to spring snow in the afternoon sunlight. They should have no problem making it through Easter.
