Moguls | Hurricane had some big bumps, top of Vortex some slightly smaller. The tops of which were soft and the troughs hard but not what I'd call real ice. Very, very few small bare spots in troughs. Not quite spring moguls. Good skiers had no problems. |

Comments | It was raining pretty steadily on the ride down from North Conway so we took some back roads. By the time we got close to I-89 the sun came out, the sky turned blue and the temp. radidly rose. We parked in the 5th row & skied after lunch with no jackets & no gloves required. The crowd was light so 5 lifts were running. While some soft spots developed it never turned to true spring conditions, especially if you avoided the flats. By 3 o'clock it was around 60°. Beautiful afternoon. |
