Comments CommentsTook advantage of the $20 3:30-closing special and did a quick 10 runs.

Skiing was okay to start, but as the sun dropped behind the mountain and the temperatures dropped, things became pretty firm/scraped, as one would expect in this type of weather.

Sunnyside did in fact operate today (snow report last night did not show it as open), but it was closing when night skiing started. Heard the skiing was good over there.

Three trails open from the very top this evening (Jack Spratt, Parmalee's, and Sunset Blvd.). The first two were scraped by this evening, while Sunset Blvd. had spring snow in the light, but some dirt working its way up near the top.

The trails to skiers right of the East Slope (ie Kancamagus) were firm and in the shadows. Spratt down to East Slope (4 different trail names?) was as mentioned scraped up top, then some bare spots at midstation, then initially narrow, then good coverage but scraped.

The larger slopes in the mid mountain (Main, Pine) were decent. Some scraped connectors leading to them. The novice trails to skiers left generally had forgiving spring snow.

Decent amount of terrain open considering the weather. Closing day is tomorrow.
