Food and Beverage | Still quasi-COVID crazy (night and day compared to Franklin). Lodge apparently has a mask mandate, but most didn't care (one little kid looked at the sign and said 'that was last year'), though a few were still masking outdoors (and one driving alone with one). Food is apparently available via the outdoor ticket window.
Comments | Founders had wall to wall packed powder coverage. Really nice conditions. Terrain Park trail seemed to be natural with a couple of thin spots up high, but was pretty good. Ridge Run and Runoff were closed (presumably no base, but looks like there was 8" of powder). Employees were very friendly. Lift operators were particularly great with the little kids trying to learn how to ride a Poma. Very patient, sometimes even running up the hill with them to help them balance. This wait made the lift line a few minutes at times, but as most folks agreed, that's what this place is for. Slopes were never crowded. Hearing next weekend may be it for the season. Partly sunny afternoon with temperatures in the low 30s.
