Food and Beverage | Sat at the bar along with some locals. Bartenders very nice. We picked up our food in the cafeteria and brought to the bar, we were given plates and napkins by the bartenders. But locals got better service when kitchen delivered their food--we all had a good laugh. Good drinks, good BLT & cheeseburger. I didn't see the bar bill but spent $24 bucks on food, seemed reasonable for ski area fare. |

Comments | We decided to hit Suicide 6 since it isn't too far a drive and our Indy Passes are blocked out this long weekend. Ski area didn't open until Noon, delayed start to allow snow to set up and to groom. We just wanted to ski a couple hours anyway. A couple weeks ago they were 100 percent open now just the snowmaking trails are left. Too much bare ground between the moguls now to open the glades and natural trails. They did a good job grooming and there is a lot of snow left on the man made trails. We did 8 runs on the quad chair. They didn't run the double, too few skiers to bother I guess. We had a fun time at this little gem of a ski area. The locals at the bar told us to be sure not to tell anyone about their ski area, ha ha. |
