Comments | Some impromptu spring skiing in the middle of February turned out to make for a great day. The morning was pretty nasty, with heavy cloud cover and rain. Things cleared up around 10, which is when crowds started showing up. There was a college race on Showoff that gave the Green Chair some of its longest lines of the season (5-10 mins) and the Tell a Friend Tour kept the terrain park well-populated. Spring conditions were present across the whole mountain, softening up last weekend's ice and actually reopening a few trails, bringing the total to 47/50. Some of the day's best runs were Red Line, Twilight Zone, and Heart of Magician, all featuring soft bumps with enough cover to get down. |
