No one will stop you. Hopefully these rules will end soon. I brought my own food today but my friend purchased the fries with chicken tenders. Wasn't cheap but the portions were a good size. |

Comments | Probably the best conditions of the season so far. 100% of the trails were open. The snow was soft and there was no ice to be found anywhere. Spring skiing in February. A nice change from all the recent cold days. We skied the West Basin and North Peak trails from opening until 3 PM. The parking lots filled up fast but I don't know where everyone went. There was only a short wait in the morning at the Kanc8 and at North Peak. After lunch both lifts were ski on for the rest of the day. We didn't go to the gondola (usually too busy), or to South Peak today. The new Kanc8 kept stopping again today. There were three Doppelmayr service trucks parked next to the lift all day, so at least it appears that they are working on it.
Weather: Mostly sunny in the morning, then it got mostly cloudy after lunch. Temperature was 31° at opening, warmed up to 45° in the afternoon. |
