Comments | Cold, bright & sunny day at Ascutney. Volunteers joked about how full the parking lot was, that it was more full than back when the lifts were still operating! I actually showed up too early, not realizing they open at 12 noon. Lots of back country skiers and the T-Bar line did back up past the end of the lodge a few times past 2pm. Still the best untracked groomed corduroy you'll find anywhere. Well worth the $20 ticket! The old T bar slope (Main slope) was a perfect carpet for fast slalom turns. Really did not have one bad run here, traverse left or right and ski everything! |
