Session | Morning |
Ticket Type | Season Pass |
Lift Lines | 1 to 2 minutes |
Trail Conditions | 85% open; Packed Powder, Powder |
Glades | I think all the easier glades are open and glades on Zephyr are all open, I didn't go over by the glades off of Mt. Rosebrook but the reports said some of the were open. After a couple of more inches of snow I think they will be very good. |
Moguls | ungroomed trails such as Granny's Grit were very nice, soft powdery snow with natural formed bumps, good fun. |
Terrain Park(s) | Looking pretty buff plenty of big jumps and toys |
Run of the Day | Darby's Drop, no one ever seems to find it and I have it all to myself |
Food and Beverage | Didn't stay for lunch today. Next time |
Comments | I skied from 8 to 11 am. It wasn't snowing yet but the air felt extra cold even though I think it was 10 degree, blame the humidity. My second run I rode the gondola and after that the line got very long, people love the gondola. Looking north and west it was clear but Mt. Washington and friends were in the clouds. Could just barely see Mt. Deception. Cloudy, good visibility this morning. The t-bar and Stickney's cabin opened today but I didn't make it over there this time I did a couple of runs on West Mountain since it is opened today too, that was longest chairlift line because everyone wanted to give it a try just a few minutes. Skiing was excellent. Rosebrook and Zephyr and I could ski right onto those chairs in the singles line. Very happy time skiing. Hopefully after tonight the whole mountain will be open, fingers crossed. |
