Session | Full Day |

Ticket Type | Discount from Third Party |
Lift Lines | 0 minutes |
Trail Conditions | 75% open; Packed Powder, Variable Conditions |
Glades | Thin cover but definitely skiable on most glade trails. Should be crusty a day later! |
Moguls | Most black and double black trails with moguls had large ungroomed portions off to the right. Newer, mandmade snow was usually on the left of the trail, occasionally groomed. Weight of snow difference between manmade and from MLK Day storm was immense. MLK Day snow was sticky, slowed you down, and was heavy even two days later. |
Terrain Park(s) | Looked like in good shape for what was open. |
Run of the Day | Top Gun |
Food and Beverage | Offerings were sparse - there was plenty of room at South Ridge and Barker. I didn't see anyone at the Foggy Goggle at all. Such an odd sight |
Comments | White Heat was mogully/skied off by 2pm but definitely still doable in the afternoon. Shock Wave was for experts only and was ungroomed - very challenging weight of the snow and drops. Top Gun was by far the best combo of moguls, steep, and enough snow that coverage and being 'skied off' wasn't an issue - we did this in the later afternoon and was still fine. Right Stuff was also decent into the later parts of the day. Aurora Peak was open but we did not hit it (nor Jordan or Oz) - unfortunate since Air Glow is also a favorite of mine. The long blue squares were *almost* skied off but not completely (American Express, Lazy River, Grand Rapids) - they were still fine and overall just plain good until 330pm - I'm sure MLK Day storm had something to do with it.
Total of 17 runs for the day with some cycles of White Cap and Barker quad.
