Comments | Great day for groomers! Showoff, Medium, Vertigo etc all great for early morning speed runs. Due to a -40 degree windchill at the summit, Red did not open until around 11:30 and shut down at 3, Green running 9-4. Showoff, Wand, Carumba and Lower Red Line are new additions since last weekend. Despite being a holiday weekend there were little crowds; the cold likely scared many off. Snow is being made on Lower Trick, Hocus Pocus and the terrain park for a possible opening of those runs tomorrow. There’s a storm coming Sunday night into Monday that could drop around a foot of dense snow here; with the base that’s already down this could open a whole lot of terrain. |
