Comments | Fresh snow yay! Nothing super new open. About 2-4†of new snow to help with conditions, but there is still hard pack underneath from the rainy weather. Patches of it were coming through, more on Wild Side than most other trails. Aim for the snow! Flying Yankee is the only trail open too to bottom on Spear Peak. Cardigan was open today to the Flying Yankee connector. The lower part of Showboat (Showoff apparently) is open, with a connector lower on Flying Yankee. This connector is a bit of an uphill, and getting your speed up is challenging with the angle of the turn, so expect some work! The main peak was the same, with nothing new. Head wall got scratched up before lunch. Crewcut was in good shape, edgeable, and the snow got pushed more off to the sides. Newfound was the best it’s been so far this year, a little bumpy and mogully at times but so soft and fun. Main Street and Village Green were constantly changing between more smooth and bunked up throughout the day. |
