Comments | Mother Nature has not been kind of western Mass. The temps have been warmer, and the natural snow has been eaten up substantially by rain and foggy days. The conditions were still good, feeling like spring in December! Earlier morning runs were great. By the afternoon some trails were starting to bump up, and the snow was definitely getting heavier. A few patches of groomed snow had become dirty during grooming, but didn’t really begin to deteriorate until about lunch time. Few mini rocks scattered around, but not too bad if you didn’t have brand new skis. Main quad had a few hiccups throughout the day, but seemed to be back to normal when we left. After missing the 20-21 season we were happy to get back. |
