Comments | Skied the West Basin, Gondola Peak, and North Peak trails today. Snow conditions were groomed loose granular over frozen hardpack. Parts of Upper Flume, Upper Walking Boss, Sunset, and the curves on Flying Fox were slick and skied off quickly. Snowmaking was active on Coolidge Street. South Peak was open, but we didn't go over there today. It was slightly less busy than an average weekend day today. Lots of families, kids, beginners, etc. We quit at noon before the trails became too skied off. Weather: 21° to start the day, climbing to 29° at noon. Mostly cloudy, some filtered sunshine. No wind. | |
