Comments | This is a report for Pats Peak. LIfts opened at 9am and there were at least 30 others waiting for first rides besides me! Oh it was groomed packed powder on Twister and everything off the top. Amazing dry easy turning snow. Even when I left just after 11 am loose snow pushed around with little to no frozen granular showing. Nice change from last year, other singles shared the triplechair with me every ride today. Tubing park, 6 lanes, opened today. Beginner carpet lifts running full, people are excited to learn to ski and snowboard! Impressive. Race training with courses set on one side of Twister, not too busy and the trail was open to the public. Cyclone was really good too. They opened the Hurricane Triple once the lift line got to be more than a couple of minutes and then crowd spread out and lift line was about 2 minutes again. Merry Christmas |
