Comments | Stratton reported 37/99 trails, well with so many upper and lower and I don't know the name of this trail and how did I get stuck at the bottom of this slow chairlift, how come I can't get back over to Ursa?, I realized I really don't know this mountain well. No gondola but plenty of fast chairlifts with no lines was a-o-k. Frank's Fall Line was closed the entire morning for ski race training. Skiing was very fun, few people so we mostly had wide open trails to ourselves. Polar Bear and Black Bear off Ursa were great. Trails off the Snow Bowl Lift were good too. It was very warm, 50 degrees. The trails have good snowcoverage but it is rather thin where the lifts unload at the top of the mountain. Plenty of poles placed by the ski patrol all over to warn for the bare spots. This felt like an mid April spring day. Kris and I did 11 runs between 9-11:30. | |
