Comments | Quite a lot of terrain open for opening weekend! Essentially, all of the main mountain green and blue groomers were open besides Turnpike and Vista Way. The conditions were less stellar though. Morning was great, as feeshly groomed terrain tends to be, and yes, Cannon is always icy (especially the Links and Middle Cannon) but I think a combination of some rain during the week and the cold temperatures made it become icier and quicker than normal. After lunch, I just decided to lap the lower greens as a result. Weather was nice though. A bit chilly at first but minimal wind and blue skies. Clouds started to roll in during the afternoon and winds did pick up a little but not bad. |
