Comments | Waay better coverage from last week, and snowguns were blasting everywhere on South Ridge, Spruce, parts of Locke and White Cap. Average temperature hovered around 30 degrees. The Barker Mountain Quad also was closed today (mechanical issues), so most of the skiing was at either Locke and South Ridge (lifts 1+4), with lift 1 opening up for the first time this season.
I started my day over at Locke, and took a couple runs on both T2 and Sunday Punch at 9:45. Both trails had really decent coverage for only being November. I also noticed that Cascades was open too, but decided not to ski it out of fear of becoming a glazed donut, ðŸ©! After taking a couple runs @Locke, I took Easy Street down to South Ridge, to lift 2, and then Broadway. Mountain Ops decided to stop making snow on Broadway after 9:00, so whalebacks dominated the beginner area. I personally love skiing whalebacks, so I had to take at least 5 runs just on Broadway alone! Called it at day at 1:15, with a solid 14 runs in. |
