Comments | Powder day! Killington picked up 19 inches by the time morning rolled around. Got there around 9. Place was completely full for the world cup which got cancelled due to wind and visibility. The gondola, North Ridge Quad, Snowdon Six, and Snowdon Triple where open. Decent line off of the gondola until around 1. Trails where getting beat up by the end of the day. Snowdon area had the best conditions by the end of the day and still some powder. North Ridge area was nice with Upper Ridge Run being open with thin cover, but very, very fun. Overall, the village was crowded. Nice music from the DJ's. Packed up around 3. Snowmaking going on in the Snowdon area so more terrain expansion in the coming days. Winds where crazy! You couldn't see the ground on Bunny Buster due to snow and snowmaking. Overall, great day at K. Conditions in the coming weeks should be mint. |
