Comments | Trails Open: Superstar, Skye Lark, and Bittersweet. Lifts Running: Superstar Express ran from 9-5 K was closed Monday to Thursday. Open Friday to Sunday until the season ends. Superstar was groomed down the middle last night as usual. It appears to have enough snow left to go for at least another weekend. After lunch the bumps were in full bloom again. Skye Lark was still ski-able from top to bottom, with a couple sections of thin coverage. Bittersweet had two sections of walking required, although we saw a couple folks blast over the wet grass and rocks. It appears to be on on life support though, not sure if it will last the weekend. Short to no lift line all day. Weather: 46° at opening, with a clear blue sky. 54° in the afternoon and partly cloudy. Wind was not a factor today. By "Discount from Ski Area" I mean that our tickets were purchased online before the day of visit at a reduced price. Did not purchase the Spring Pass to K this season because I was not legally eligible to travel to Vermont until last weekend. If I'm not welcome then I'm not coming. I'm really grateful that the State of New Hampshire welcomed everyone from New England to their state this Winter, and I will remember that when making future travel plans. | |
