Food and Beverage | Had a tasty burger and fries from the Woody Food Truck parked next to the Barker lift. The Barker Lodge was also open for food service. |

Comments | Lifts in operation: Barker Express. Trails open: Lazy River to Tourist Trap, Ecstasy to Sunday Punch, and Right Stuff. Lazy River was narrow and had sections of thin coverage. Tourist trap was like a thin coat of cream cheese smeared onto burnt toast. Complementary stone grinding. Skied it once only. Ecstasy had a few bare spots and rocks that were easily skied around. Sunday Punch had an area of thin coverage near the Locke Mountain lift mid station, but otherwise had good coverage. Right Stuff had good coverage. It was groomed to start out but got bumped up nicely. It definitely was the ROTD. No lift lines. Because the snow pack at the base was so low the RFID scanner mounting was too high, so scanning through was challenging at times. We were able to make laps on the Right Stuff and Sunday Punch routes. It was the last day of the season at Sunday River. It was a nice fun day. No jacket or snow pants needed, shorts and T-shirts were an option. Weather: Temperature started out about 45° and quickly warmed up to about 65°. Full sunshine. Some light wind after noon but it was not a factor. |
