Comments | Definite spring conditions here. We started our first runabout 9:15, all day probably saw 100 people max. A lot of people quit by lunch time. Summit lift was servicing Ravine, Profile, Skylight, Cannon, Taft Slalom (Saddle is closed). We skied the open trails on the fingers quickly early on. Zoomer, Rocket (personal fave here..), and Gary’s were good. The trails off the top of the Zoomer lift were soft before lunch, and some sneaky rock sharks lay just below the surface. Zoomer Lift Line had rocks first run, that became tattered snow ribbons by afternoon. Saw on last run that no one had played much on Time Zone, so we played. Pretty much everyone was riding the summit quad, because the higher elevations obviously held the better snow. Kudos to anyone who only skied the Peabody lift has legs of steel. It was tough to push the snow around in the afternoon. For me, if it is the final day, it was a good one. |
