Comments | Closing day for the 20-21 season. I took the time to ski every open trail, including the Barnyard and all little connectors, then repeated a few of the best ones. There were enough trails softening up as the day went to keep it interesting. Exposed ground here and there, along with narrowing of some trails kept a skier's attention. Birches and Wide Side didn't soften up until after lunch time; bullet proof at 10am. Exhibition, and Showboat got better with age. Flying Yankee was great all morning, starting to turn buttery around noon. Cardigan was pretty soft all morning, even at opening it was much more forgiving than others. Took the final opportunity to ski the Barnyard as well. There was no one skiing it at 9:45, and the snow was so good! Perfect combination of sun and a good set up. It was well worth the slow ride up on the Hall double chair. Today was also the last day for Ragged's 21-22 season pass at $349, it will now be $449 starting tomorrow. |
