Comments | The snow was definitely softer today after another night of grooming and warmer temperatures today. The groomed trails are pretty close to their pre storm condition. All trails skied really well. Not that many people were out today considering that it's a Massachusetts school vacation week. Never waited more than a couple of minutes at the lifts. Didn't take the gondola though. Skied the West Basin, and North Peak trails in the morning.
The East Basin double was running today. We took it a couple of times to access Angel Street, which was great. Went to South Peak in the afternoon. Those trails skied well also. Ripsaw had a couple of skied off sections on the headwall, but overall it was in good shape.
Weather: About 14° at opening, peaking about 24° in the early afternoon. For the first couple of hours there was a small amount of filtered sun trying to break through, but then it was cloudy all day. Wind was not a factor today. |
