Comments | Excellent morning of skiing! Conditions are outstanding packed powder across most of the mountain. Flume and Walking Boss were soft and grippy. Angel Street was nice from top to bottom. Sunset was good. Ditto for Picked Rock and Flying Fox. Rolling Bear was ungroomed with moguls. Big Dipper and Triple Trouble were open with all natural, ungroomed snow. In the West Basin Lower Picked Rock, Blue Ox, and Rampasture trails were nice packed powder. Upper Northstar and Lower Speakeasy were all natural, ungroomed. Upper Rumrunner and Coolidge Street were closed for race training. It was busy in the morning, but the herd started to thin out after 11. Made some runs off the East Basin double to avoid the line at North Peak, and to access Angel Street. The temperature started out at 5°, and warmed up to 23° by noon. It started snowing lightly around 11:30. |
