Comments | The conditions were uniform on all Trails - slick and fast at the spot on the snow spectrum where packed powder meets frozen granular. Loads of corduroy since skiers were few both Friday and Saturday. The bitter cold kept crowds down both mornings but KP has excellent wind protection throughout. The small back parking lot, where passholders can park just yards from the back lift, was nearly full Saturday morning, mainly from the big ski team, which was practicing on Red Pine (which remained open to the public). Slalom, Jack and Brûlée, especially the last, were as fast as I like. Pitch looked a little intimidating - I think it needs a bit more snow. |
