Comments | Made it out around 10:00 today. My first run was off Escapade and then to Dreamaker; both in great condition. Lifts Open Today: #1, #2, #4, #6, #7, #8, #9, #12, #14, #17 and #18. For no particular reason, I decided to randomly bounce around the mountain to see what I could find worth skiing. I tried to take a couple photos of where I went here and there too, which are in a google drive folder down below if you're interested. Really a big difference from last week. Escapade was and Lallapoloza were probably the 2 best trails on the mountain, along with Escapade and Dreamaker too. American Express and Rouge Angel also had active snowguns, so hoping those will be open soon. As rhodislandskier mentioned in his last review: "There definitely were a lot more people on the mountain than during mid week Pre-Covid times. Everything seemed to finally have come together, and todays skiing felt close to where I left off when the plug was pulled back in March." TBH, completely 100% agree. Sometimes when I was skiing around the mountain, it almost felt like Covid was non-existent, and was at the back of my mind. 2020 has not been nice to us, but so far there is something new to look forward to every day here. That's a really awesome feeling. As for the weather, the temperature hovered around 32°, and snow flurries were on-and-off all day. | |
