Comments | Made a few runs this AM, starting just after opening. The same Blueberry Patch/Wild Side combination seemed almost better to me than on Thursday's opening. Snow was nice to ski on, get a bite in, and not hit piles of frozen granular. A couple hardmpack spots, but nothing unmanageable. Weren't too many people this morning, and it never felt overly busy on the one trail. On the last run, it seemed there was a decent wave of folks coming down, but the parking lot didn't reflect that. Stepped into the lodge only for a minute for the bathroom, and aside from the tables being rearranged a bit, it looked pretty standard. I noticed at "30minute limit" sign on the doors, which are also set up as one way entrance/exit.
One employee said the weekend had been very busy, he thought there may have been 300 people on Sunday (???). He mentioned there were quite a few race teams that added to the crowds. |
