Comments | Opening day for Ragged (season pass holders only). Blueberry Patch to Wild Side/Ride was the only run open. Good conditions, got cut up quickly making for fun little piles of granular - nice to carve in. Fair size crowd, but the line wasn't huge. A little slower than normal since its being moderated to keep riders spaced out. They were asking folks who weren't in groups of more than three if they were comfortable sharing the lift with a single rider; most were okay with it, but a few did decline. I made sure to say thank you to the couples who let me ride with them, since I was riding the singles line. If there were no other groups waiting, they would send up three singles. There was either a race team (most likely), or ski school taking part in the day too, which was surprising. Once they started their runs at about 10:30 I said see ya! I chose to wear a regular ski buff over my face, as most others did, and was not bothered by anyone at all. I didn't go in the lodge, so I can't speak to that. Otherwise I didn't feel any inconvenience in comparison to any of last year's visits. |
