Comments | Bluebird started the day on hold, so first tracks were on the Canyon Express. Cord was really nice for one run, but then Canyon was already completely skied off by the time I got back up again, so I decided to head over to North Face in order to get to the summit, as I say no tracks on Cascade yet. For some reason, they decided to open Outpost instead of Challenger on North Face which was annoying since none of the trails off Outpost were open which meant you had to skate every run. Anyway, I got some of the first tracks down Cascade which was nice, then I went down River Run to head back up North Face. I then decided to ski Free Fall, which was pretty firm, but skiable. Next run I decided to try to get some cord on Long John, which I discovered was mostly gone already even though Bluebird wasn't open yet, which surprised me. Though there was still some cord on the sides. Then Bluebird opened, and Canyon closed. I lapped Long John most of the day, as that was where the best snow was, with the occasional Cascade/Canyon run. Lines were not long, even shorter than yesterday. Overall, it was a fun day. Conditions weren't great, but this November, I'll take what I can get. Coverage was much better today, with fewer bare spots, as they were able to make some snow last night. Hopefully we start getting some better temps soon, but it doesn't look like this week wil be thast week. | |
