Comments | Great ski area, not crowded at all for a Sunday. Fantastic conditions, hardly any ice showing anywhere except maybe in the woods. They had got a dusting overnight Friday when we got rain, it gave the conditions enough firmness to hold on and last when the sun came out. Really nice to see how much character is in these trails. Some make you feel like your skiing out west a bit, and others are narrow and steep giving you a ride along the line of fun and fear :)
Intermediate complex on the west side of the mountain was nice. Good variety and lots of looptyloos. There was a race all day on Haley’s Comet, but was open with skiing on the side. The kids provided great entertainment watching them race, and burn off energy while waiting for their run being foolish. Even that trail was good to ski at the end of the day when they were finished. Just goes to show how good of a base they have.
