Comments | 52 of 61 Trails, and 10 of 10 Lifts were open today. The temperature was 21° at opening, rose to 34° by mid afternoon at the base. Sunny skies all day. It was very windy at the summits, and chilly to start out. There was full sun all day so it felt comfortable by mid day. The gondola was closed, on wind hold from opening until about 10 AM. North Peak Express Quad was running about half speed due to the wind until about 10 AM. The trails were groomed out, firm and fast. The West Basin was in good shape with no wind holds. South Peak had no wind holds, but the trails didn't soften up until later in the day |
