Glades | Surprisingly doable. Most had about 50% bare spots. Ducked the ropes on Solstice (had a short portage but not bad). Ventured into Darkstar and it wasn't that bad. A bit bristly in places but as long as you picked your line, you were fine. The old T-bar liftline - had to waddle a bit at the bottom to get out but that YUGE blowdown had JUST been cut out!!! That has been a PITA for a few years!!!! |

Comments | Managed to squeeze a couple hours in this afternoon before it started to rain. All trails really fun. The ice was avoidable. I was afraid the snow would setup but it was still too warm for that. Managed to find a couple old connector trails that I had never been on - like they were old logging roads or something - not sure, but, they were fun. No crowds, of course. Outstanding views. |
