Food and Beverage Food and BeverageFood court was really slow (no line, but it took awhile to put in an order, then get it, then pay for it, as the cooks were doubling as cashiers, and were doing all the cooking for the pub too; appeared that pub orders took precedence over food court orders).
Comments CommentsNice sunny afternoon. Steeper natural stuff in the sun is getting thin, but it was a nice mix of packed powder and spring skiing. No lines for the triple or the double. The J-Bars are not on the line (therefore that entire complex is closed), and the Poma was not operating (and didn't look like it had operated in awhile). Not sure how long they'll make it into March if things warm up, as it seems like there isn't as much man-made snow this season as I remember in previous season visits.

Upper Maple Slalom and Upper Black Beauty were groomed off the top; the former was thin in places with some grass poking through and a couple of rocks. Upper Lostbo was open, but rocky at the start. White Knuckle was thin in a few places, but decent.

Upper/Lower Speedwell and Lower Bob-A-Link were groomed and decent. Big Dipper was closed. Sun Valley was nice, as was upper Roller Coaster (ungroomed); lower part was frying. Maple Slalom was natural and decent, though there were some set up ruts from earlier in the week. Upper Down Under (e.g. in the trees) was awesome natural snow. Jackson Standard and Galloping Goose were good groomers. S Turns was ungroomed and a little thin, but okay (though firm late in the day after it started to set up again). The various novice trails east of there were in good shape.

Clear blue skis, not windy, augmented by snow still sticking to the trees made for a nice afternoon.
