Comments | Wachusett blew snow all day yesterday 1-9 on several trails and those trails were fantastic up until I left. Unfortunately summit lift had mechanical problems which forced everyone over on mid mtn or beginner area which made for some crowded conditions. Summit lift finally up and running about 10:30 and then the long lift line moved to summit chair and left mid mountain lift virtually abandoned. We made a couple runs from the summit and the trails were fine but there were just too many people for our comfort and the clouds moved in so light was flat, so we went back over to mid mountain and enjoyed some nice packed powder skiing on Challenger, Look Mom, Ralph's, Frannies Folly and Piece of Cake. Going to get warm tomorrow and sunday but there is plenty of snow |
