Moguls | Only moguls I saw today were on Upper Limelight over at Jackson Gore and Sel's on main mtn. Plunge moguls on Solitude were groomed to cordoroy. |

Terrain Park(s) | There is a terrain park now set up on Tomahawk but we did not use it. They were making snow in the half pipe area. |

Comments | Very cold and windy. Stayed mostly on the Sunburst heated bubble till noon. All the trails, with exception of Jolly Green Giant were in great shape. JGG was super hard pack and lots of marbles. We tried Solitude lift early but just too windy and cold but later in the afternoon it was bearable and all trails were in great shape though some still not full width. Jackson Gore still only has basicly three trails open. I heard South Face was open today but reports were snow guns were blasting under or near the lift and drifting snow, the cold and wind made for a very uncomfortable ride on the open chair. South Face only has a couple trails open. Crowds were not a problem so we skied mostly off the Sunburst Bubble, World Cup, Meullers Run, Noreaster, Timberline, Solitude. Upper Chief was closed for snowmaking but you could get to Lower Chief via Chute of World Cup and that was nice. Considering the limited snow there this year and the unseasonable warmth and wetness Okemo is still putting out a nice product. FYI:Since I am an epic pass holder I asked what it would cost for me to bring a buddy skiing. For a non holiday weekday it would be $127.14 with tax for walk up adult. Using my buddy tickets it would be about $87 for adult. In talking with my friend a Wachusett who has a Mt Snow pass which is now part of Epic he can ski at Okemo for 1/2 price or about $65. |
