Comments | Have skied there Mon, Tue and Wed of this week and pretty much same conditions every day. Most of the trails are frozen and loose granular and very equal in snow quality. If you don't mind a little hike Piece of Cake was by far the best today and most days. Kind of short trail but great surface. Challenger had NASTAR course set up on 1/2 and much to our surprise some group had set up another course on the opposite side of the trail which pretty much eliminated this trail until noon. Crowds this week have been minimal during the day, but I believe school groups descend around 3PM so it probably gets crowded from 3-8 or so so beware. Lots of ice beneath surface cover so some very hard pack areas beginning to surface by noon on popular trails. |
