Comments | First $10 Tuesday night of the season (and in a few years) brought the biggest night skiing crowds I've ever seen at King Pine. Lift lines tended to be a few minutes long, but manageable. Trails were busy, but not weekend-major-resort crowded. Parking lots were packed with some people triple parking cars in.
Everything was open with not a bare spot to be seen. The underlying base was hard to get an edge into, however the surface was plentiful loose granular, so conditions were decent for night skiing standards, and quite good for just $10. |
