Comments | Stopped in for a few runs after lunch. Good parking spot near the lodge - yay. Was far more crowded parking area than I was anticipating - everyone must have been inside at the bar? Runs were amazing. Was only misting a bit - not pouring. Did the available black diamonds and all were in nice shape - good grip with just a bit of ice here and there but no real issues. I avoided the flats as much as possible - did have to unstrap once on Cardigan at the long flat (I swear it goes uphill - I could be wrong of course!!!). NOTE: lower section (below the steeps) of Flying Yankee was open via the cutover from Cardigan - YAY - this rode very nicely. It's a nicer run than I recall. The cutover from Turnpike to Barnyard ("Homerun") was open which is always nice because then you can go through the barn without taking the Barnyard chair up. Fun!!!! |
