Comments | Rain rain go away. Misty and sometimes soft rain this morning. Super snow conditions. No lift lines on the main peak but the Valley slopes and carpets looked busy. The race club took over the mountain this morning, I won't complain I was one of those kids once but Race Trail and Twister were closed to the public but ski patrol said they would open at 11 am (that is just before we left). Again the carpet and Valley Slopes looked like more people on them than the main mountain. There was a short slalom course set on the side of the middle of Tornado for little ski club kids, it was no issue to enjoy the trail. Cyclone, Duster and East Wind skied lovely and again few people on the trail, most often we had them to ourselves. Good day to give up the mountain to the kids since they were nearly the only ones skiing the main peak. We had a fun couple hours. Days like this make me extra thankful to have a ski area nearby. |
