Comments | Skied opening for an hour to take advantage of new snow. Super conditions, some of the first groomed had fabulous accumulation, others groomed later did not disappoint. Finally got to ride Speare Peak quad, only Showboat and Cardigan were open. Showboat bumped up quickly, but then was skied down some. Cardigan was groomed and in fab shape. The line for the six pack was building up each run, and at 10:00 the people were pouring in. Top three lots were full, and I had someone waiting for my spot up top WHILE debooting at the car. Managed to ski open terrain on Ragged peak, there was some fresh powder to be had by 10 but it was getting closer to trees and guns. Newfound Ridge was left mostly natural with one cat track up the middle according to patrol. Bumped up but soft and fun. Main Street, Raggedy Andy, and Lower Ridge had clear tracks; Wild Side, Upper Crewcut, Chute had accumulated more snow and were a blast. Ski school and families were in abundance by the time I left. | |
