Comments | Decent morning of skiing, albeit without too much terrain open. Four ways down from the top of the quad - Face, Skyline, Bunny's Boulevard, and Easy Mile. The Face was decent, even by the end of the morning. Probably about half width covered (though half of the half was taken up by race training for the first few hours). The Mid Face entrance has seen some snowmaking, but not quite enough to open. Upper Skyline was decent, while Lower Skyline had some thin spots. Bunny's was a little bit thin and icy and had race training for a few hours, making it trickier. Easy Mile was scratchy near the turn, but otherwise decent (with some race training near the bottom for a few hours). One way down from the double chair - Milky Way (fine this morning); no signs of any other snowmaking there yet. J-Bar slope (Pearson's Path) was covered wall to wall. Quad was initially ski on, but the wait hit a good 5 minutes around 10:30, as there was no line management (no attempt to put 4 per chair, nor anyone making sure queues were alternating in order). Comfortable temperatures and sunny skies. | |
