Comments | Was surprised when we arrived they were already on holiday schedule and were skiing at 8AM. Many trails are still not full width and with 55 deg temps yesterday some of thinner areas were wearing thin as day progressed. Shaded areas remained pretty firm. Lift lines were not bad. 5-10 min wait for Sunburst up to 10AM and Solitude was similar. We used Glades quad and Black Ridge chair which had no lines to access trails we don't usually get to ski during mid week because those lifts are not running. From 12:30 on lift lines were very minimal. South Face only had RimRock trail open and lift was not running. Had to access RimRock via Glades lift. We hit Jackson Gore around 12:30 and surprisingly no lift line. Only worth while trails there were Vortex/Quantum Leap and Upper and Lower Limelight. Solitude had good variety of trails and most trails from Sunburst lift are open and were in good shape, although Upper Chief is only about 1/2 width. Over all very good conditions and fun day. |
