Terrain Park(s) | They had some big jumps and rails on Lower Chute but I think they had it closed off this morning maybe it didn't get groomed or they were waiting for the snow to soften up is my best guess. |
Run of the Day | Head Wall to Wild Side, good snow and good fun |
Food and Beverage | The cafeteria was super busy so I decided my best bet was to go upstairs to the pub and I am glad I did. Hot chocolate/coffee mix with whipped cream served up quickly with a smile, excellent service. $3.50 (not including my added tip :) |

Comments | Read Ragged Mountain's on-line detailed Slope Report this morning. They groomed this morning and conditions were very good. A large high school race was taking place on skier's left on Main Street. Newfound Ridge & Maine Street were busy with the racers but there was still plenty of room if you wanted to join the fun (course was fenced). The rest of the mountain skied wide open with skiers few and well spaced on over all the other trails. I enjoyed mixing it up with Headwall, Blueberry Patch and Upper Crewcut to reach the wide open trails. Waffle House looked it was doing a bang up business with the teenagers. Morning was mostly sunny with some dark clouds that spit a little snow one us. Views of Cardigan were open but cloudy further north. It wasn't too windy, a few big gusts blowing up the mountain but nothing crazy. Lift line for the 6 packe was never more than a couple of minutes and sometimes less than 30 seconds. For novices the Barnyard Triple and carpet lift were operating and looked like people were having a good time. Fun morning on the slopes. |
