Comments | The Gondola, Seven Brothers Triple, North Peak Express Quad, Kancamagus Express Quad, and the Lincoln Express at South Peak were operational today. I was surprised how good the skiing was today. Conditions have been almost completely restored after the devastation that occurred earlier this week. Nice carvable snow was found in the West Basin trails. North Peak trails were slightly firmer, but also skied well. Snow guns were running all day on open trails Rampasture, Coolidge Street, Rumrunner, Upper Walking Boss, and Haulback. Also on closed trails Upper Flume, Angel Street, and Big Dipper. There were some nice soft whales on Walking Boss near Haulback. There were also some nice, soft, smaller mounds on Sunset. South Peak opened up today with Boom Run and Cruiser trails open. The word was that it was not very good yet, many ice balls and death cookies. So I did not venture over. The temperature was in the upper twenties most of the day. The sun never came out today. It snowed all afternoon. No lift lines at the Kank Quad, North Peak, or the Gondola today. Tomorrow is the annual Demo day at the Governor Adams Lodge. However the weather forecast calls for warm temps, and another round of devastating rain. | |
