Comments | The Gondola, Seven Brothers Triple, North Peak Express Quad, and the Kancamagus Express Quad were operational today. On the North Peak Upper Walking Boss opened this week. In the West Basin Coolidge Street, Lower Northstar, Lower Speakeasy, and Upper Rumrunner opened up. And on Loon Peak ropes were dropped on Upper Speakeasy, Bear Claw Extension, and Rolling Bear. The temperature was in the low single digits at opening, but the sun came out and it warmed up rather quickly. The snow was mostly a mix of squeaky cold packed powder on top of the machine made base. The RFID gates at the Kancamagus Express Quad are now in service. Some delays from people not familiar with the system. No lift lines at the Kank Quad or at North Peak. Short wait at the Gondola. It was busiest at opening, but by 11 AM many folks had left to prepare for the game. |
